How does INNOV-ART protect its clients' data?
INNOV-ART applies high security standards. All communications are encrypted (TLS 1.2/1.3) and stored data is secured with advanced encryption (AES-256). Access to information is strictly limited to authorised people, with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and real-time connection monitoring.
Who has access to the data during the annotation process?
Only authorised annotators and supervisors have access to the data needed for their work. Each user is subject to strict controls based on the principle of least privilege: an annotator sees only the information essential to their task, with no possibility of downloading or copying the data.
Does INNOV-ART share data with third parties?
No. INNOV-ART neither sells nor shares client data with third parties. All data remains under the client's exclusive control, in line with the signed confidentiality agreements.

Our infrastructures follow ISO 27001 standards and are regularly updated to incorporate the latest developments in cybersecurity according to the client's region (CCPA in the United States, PIPEDA in Canada, etc.).
Where is the data stored and is it encrypted?
Most of the time, the data we process is hosted directly in our clients' secure environments. When hosting on our side is required, data is stored on servers compliant with international standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2), with systematic encryption in transit and at rest. We systematically separate raw data from associated metadata, without ever altering the original files.
How is project confidentiality guaranteed?
We put strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in place with all our employees and annotators. Each annotator is individually identified for full traceability, unlike crowdsourcing platforms where contributors are often anonymous. Our platforms prevent screenshots and any data extraction.
Do annotators in Madagascar have a reliable connection?
Yes. Contrary to popular belief, Madagascar has a stable, high-performing Internet connection in the major cities where our teams are based. We make sure all our staff have access to a broadband connection, with tools that guarantee service continuity.
What measures are in place against data leaks?
- Restricted access: each annotator only accesses the data strictly necessary for their assignment
- Continuous monitoring: activities are logged to detect any anomaly
- Strict NDAs: all employees and partners sign non-disclosure agreements
